Oscar 2012: Bộ phim nào sẽ “lên ngôi”?
Oscar 2012 đem đến nhiều bất ngờ lớn khi trở thành một cuộc đua quyết liệt giữa phim câm đen trắng và phim hoạt hình. Nếu như The Artist - bộ phim của Pháp gợi nhớ tới giai đoạn chuyển giao từ phim câm sang phim tiếng cuối thập niên 1920 nhận được 10 đề cử trong tay thì Hugo - bộ phim hoạt hình 3D “nhỉnh” hơn với 11 đề cử.

Bên cạnh, The Artist và Hugo, đề cử cho hạng mục Phim xuất sắc nhất còn có 7 ứng cử viên sáng giá gồm The Descendants, The Help, Moneyball, Midnight in Paris, The Tree of Life, War Horse và Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
Đáng chú ý là sự góp mặt của Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close - bộ phim gần như bị quên lãng tại các giải tiền Oscar lại được các nhà phê bình điện ảnh của Viện Hàn lâm Khoa học Nghệ thuật và Điện ảnh Mỹ đưa vào hạng mục quan trọng nhất.
Ở hạng mục Nam diễn viên chính xuất sắc nhất, nam diễn viên nổi tiếng George Clooney (The Descendants) sẽ phải “đối đầu” với tài tử Brad Pitt (Moneyball). Trong khi đó, giải thưởng Nữ diễn viên chính xuất sắc nhất sẽ là cuộc “cạnh tranh” giữa Rooney Mara với diễn viên “gạo cội” Meryl Streep và Glenn Close...
